On 30 pieces limited Artprint by Jens Krüper. Buell was, even if H-D try to not say so, an economical success. 137.000 bikes were built from 1983 to 2009 and good money was made. Long-term thinking and yearly small facelifts generated low development costs and then, in the middle of another more cash burning time, with the development of the Barracuda project, HD pulled the plug. So in 2010, the start for EBR was a different ballgame. High immediate investments, a partner that pushed for own interests and an advanced race program made the company a candle burning on both ends. Like a shooting star that burned up in April 2015, it had a spectacular fast and colorful life.
